Brief
Wanderlust was repositioning from bucket-list spectacle to slow travel, and their existing library argued against them — drone sweeps, infinity pools, nobody ever asleep. They needed a year of imagery that felt found rather than staged, on a schedule and budget that ruled out a conventional production.
02
Approach
Crew of three, no lighting cases, real travellers street-cast in each place instead of models flown in. We planned the eleven days around weather windows rather than shot lists — the brief was specific about moods and deliberately vague about locations, which meant we could chase overcast mornings instead of fighting them. Everything was shot on two bodies and three lenses.
03
Outcome
A 300-asset library spanning three countries: campaign heroes, a year of social, and enough quiet in-between frames that the brand stopped licensing stock entirely. The imagery reads as someone's actual trip, because for eleven days it was.
